Parasolid

The Parasolid import/export interface is an add-on and requires a separate codeword. Parasolid is a trademark of Siemens.

PARASOLID import

	Interfaces toolbar (optional)
	File menu > Import > Parasolid

The dimensions of the imported design model need to be checked and scaled where necessary. Ideally, the Parasolid design model is imported into a new drawing, in order to be checked if its quality and orientation are correct before it is positioned in the final drawing.

PARASOLID export

	Interfaces toolbar (optional)
	File menu > Export > Parasolid

Currently visible 3D data is saved in Parasolid format. The saved Parasolid file should always be checked by reading it back.
