The Universal 3D (U3D) is a format for 3D-models and was standardised as ECMA-363.
If the design model is not completely assembled, it can be determined while saving the U3D whether only the shown objects or the entire design model should be converted. This allows partial areas of the design model to be exported.
Additionally, the hierarchical structure can be saved in the U3D file as well. If desired, the building and storeys can be exported in addition to the layers in ELITECAD Architecture. In ELITECAD Mechanics, either layer, classification or assemblies can be exported.
Renovation planning information can also be exported from ELITECAD Architecture as a separate hierarchical structure. If necessary, the renovation colour settings can be included in the export.
