Pedestal bearings

In ELITECAD, pedestal bearings of Y-bearing units with cast housings (shaft diameters from 20 mm to 80 mm) can be called up in the selection dialog and positioned directly in the drawing for quick preliminary designs.
These bearings correspond to the catalogue program of the companies:

  • INA Wälzlager Schäffler OHG - PASE series
  • SKF - SY5xx series

The pedestal bearings are only available as 2D objects. XEOMETRIC GmbH cannot guarantee the dimensional accuracy of the geometric data. As product development is an ongoing process for supplier companies, therefore, deviations in the dimensions of the components are possible. If your designs require guaranteed dimensions for the installation conditions, please use the bearing data provided by the selected supplier (e.g. dimension sheet, from the internet).

The desired shaft diameter and the desired view are selected in the right window and, upon confirming with ok, the pedestal bearing is placed on the current working plane of the drawing using the cursor snap functions. The reference point of the bearing view is the shaft centre / bearing centre.

With MODEL INFORMATION you can find more information about the selected pedestal bearing.
