Create Armature

With the help of this function, armatures can be created and positioned within the pipe system.

Armature property bar

By selecting the function, the property bar is displayed where the most important parameters can be set. However, the fine adjustment is made in the armature parameters dialog.

Additional parameters can be set here and saved as a separate record.

Selection of the armature type

The type of fitting can be selected with this selection menu. The following types are available:
Stop valve
Slide valve
Shutoff damper
Ball valve
Check valve
Swing check valve
Strainer

Parameter name

Name of the parameter record

In order to create your own parameter record, the parameter dialog window is filled out as required, then a new name is entered in the text field and saved with SAVE RECORD.

DELETE RECORD is used to delete a record that is no longer required.

Material

A material for the armature can be specified here. For example, the weight is calculated using the material.

Classification

The classification for the armature can be set here. The entered value is used as the name for the class.

Kind of connection

The different connection types, how the valve is connected to the pipe, can be selected here. The following types are available:

Double flange
Flange coupling
Intermediate flange (for clamping)
With external thread
With internal thread
With welding end

Below you can see the dimensions of the flange standard that has been set. These dimensions cannot be edited because they are specified by the standard.
